OVER the next few months we will be dipping into the wedding albums of Oldham couples who have tied the knot and finding out more about the happiest day of their life in their own words.
Names: Tracy Jane Clyne and Stefan Clyne
Ages: 43 and 45

What did you think when you first met? We met in Magaluf on August 25, 2016. Stefan was on a stag do and I was on a girls' holiday with my mum, sisters and nieces. Stefan was a nuisance following me around everywhere and calling me wifey. Finally I gave in and we went on a date on August 27. We clicked immediately.
The proposal: Stefan surprised me for our two-year anniversary by telling me to pack a bag, that we were going somewhere hot. We flew to Palma,when we got to our hotel/room which was stunning Stefan asked me to have a look at our views from the balcony. When I turned around he was down on one knee asking me to marry him, I cried. The date was August 24th, our friends were in the room next door — double surprise.
The wedding: Our wedding date was August 27, 2019, at the Asterias Beach Hotel in Ayia Napa, Cyprus. It was an absolute dream it was perfect in every way. We got married in 40 degree heat overlooking the beach and sea. We had 35 guests and our wedding meal was traditional English BBQ with so much choice. We spent a further week in Cyprus with our friends and family, making amazing memories. When Stefan and I returned home after our wedding we had another reception in England on September 14 at Mercure Norton Grange hotel it was wonderful. We are planning our honeymoon for next year.
Our relationship: Stefan and myself are truly soulmates. We are best friends, our personalities are so similar. I always say Stefan is the male version of me, we have an unbelievable strong love and we were destined to be together. So much so that I moved from Ireland in January 2017 leaving all my family and friends behind to start a new life with Stefan.
