THE stars are coming out to help families in Oldham celebrate the festive season at the Grange Theatre.

A host of familiar faces will be starring in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs which opens next month and runs until January 5.

Leading the way will be 90s chart topper Edele Lynch from the girl band B*Witched who will play the Wicked Queen Morgana.

She will be joined by two reality TV show favourites - Ronan Park, runner-up in the fifth series of Britain’s Got Talent in 2011, who will play the Prince; and Enola Dyer who will play Snow White and was a member of the all-girl band Misstasia who reached the semi finals of BGT.

Well-known Oldham actor Jeffrey Longmore who has appeared in both Coronation Street and Emmerdale will be putting on his best frock as Dame Dolly.

Phil Mealey, who with Craig Cash wrote the cult series Last Orders and who starred in the recent stage version of the TV show, will play Horace the Henchman.

Astrologer and Strictly Come Dancing favourite Russell Grant will be making a special appearance at every show in a specially-recorded role as the Man in the Mirror.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is being brought to the Grange Theatre which is based at Oldham College by Anton Benson Productions.

There will be a special preview performance on Friday, December 13 and there will be a number of schools performances.

There will not be any shows on Monday, December 16, Christmas Day or Thursday, January 2 and the pantomime will end its run on Sunday, January 5.
