THE following cases have been dealt with by Tameside Magistrates’ Court.

ABU Munahim, aged 23, of Washington Street, Oldham, was found in possession of cannabis and cocaine at Oldham on May 8, He was given a two-year conditional discharge and ordered to forfeit the drug. He must also pay £30 to victim services.

ASHLEY Wright, aged 28, of Ewood, Oldham, was found in possession of a six inch kitchen knife in a public place. He was given an eight-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. He must also pay £85 costs and £122 to victim services.

DANUT Bacaoanu, aged 37, of Honeywell Lane, Oldham, failed to ensure the transfer of household waste to an authorised person. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

KAROLINA Dabrowska, aged 40, of Dowry Street, Oldham, failed to ensure the transfer of household waste to an authorised person. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

VASILE Holea, aged 42, of Kelverlow Street,Oldham, failed to ensure the transfer of household waste to an authorised person. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

PETER Smedley, aged 31, of Dowry Street, Oldham, failed to ensure household waste was transferred to an authorised person. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

VALENTIN Vasile Sorica, aged 38, of Ashton Road, Oldham, failed to ensure the transfer of household waste to an authorised person. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

KENNETH Eyres, aged 44, of Wales Street, Watersheddings, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on April 24 by failing to attend appointments to see his case manager at Oldham CRC on August 20 and 28. He was fined £200.

ADAM Ahmed, aged 35, of Alva Road, Moorside, Oldham, caused £100 worth of damage to a police custody cell at Ashton on July 29. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs, £100 compensation and £21 to victim services.

CLAIRE Tasker, aged 32, of Littlemoor Lane, Oldham, was found guilty threatening behaviour and assaulting a man by beating at Oldham on July 13. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

ALEX Bradley Shane Riley, aged 28, of no fixed address, has been jailed for four weeks for thefts from three stores in Oldham. On November 9 he stole protein bars worth £114.54 from Holland and Barrett, on November 12, he stole jumpers worth £99.98 from T J Hughes and on November 17, he stole fragrances wroth £84 from Debenhams in the Spindles shopping complex. He was also ordered to pay £99.98 compensation.

VIJAY Singh, aged 26, of no fixed address, has been committed to Minshull Street Manchester Crown Court for sentence on December 16 after pleading guilty to possession of a kitchen knife in a public place and breaking into The White Hart in Oldham and stealing a knife and alcohol on November 17.

DANIELLE Grimshaw, aged 31, of Canal Street, Chadderton failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on October 26, 2018 by failing to attend appointments on September 26 and October 3. She has now been dealt with for the original offence of drink driving in Raymond Avenue, Oldham on July 27, 2018.She has been placed under curfew with electronic monitoring until January 13. Until then she must be at 26 Canal Street or Flat 2, 348 Middleton Road, Oldham, from 6pm to 8am daily.

SHOFIUl Hoque, aged 21, of Garforth Street, Oldham, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on June 20 by failing to attend appointments on September 25 and October 2. He was fined £50 and ordered to pay £60 costs.

WAJID Malik, aged 30, of Albert House, Chadderton, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on May 21 by failing to attend unpaid work appointments on October 2 and 9. He must now carry out 25 hours unpaid work in the next 12 months and pay £60 costs.

KELLY Leigh McLeod, aged 30, of Robson Street, Oldham, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on August 6 by failing to attend appointments on August 20 and September 19. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

SARAH Louise Schofield, aged 32, of Melbourne Avenue, Chadderton, failed to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Tameside Magistrates; Court on March 31 by failing to attend appointments on October 3 and 15. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

JOHN Edmonson. aged 62, of Cheetham Street, Shaw, failed to provide a specimen of breath for analysis when suspected of drink driving at Ashton on September 6. He was fined £105 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £32 to victim services.

KYLE Stephen Royle, aged 26, of Albert Street, Royton failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates on June 6 by failing to attend appointments with his offender manager on July 24 and August 7. He has now been dealt with for his original offence for driving while disqualified on May 12, 2018. He must carry out 3130 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months and pay £60 costs.

ADEBOWALEOLEA Awolesi, aged 37, of Higher House Close, Chadderton, was guilty of drink driving on Ashton Old Road, Manchester on October 27. He was fined £323 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £32 to victim services. He was banned from driving for 16 months.

CARA Green, aged 21, of Napier Street West, Oldham, assaulted an emergency worker at Ashton custody suite on October 26. She was fined £200 and ordered to pay £100 compensation, £85 costs and £32 to victim services.

AMANDA Jane Bartholomew, aged 47, of Coalshaw Green Road, Chadderton, at Tameside, between January 1, 2017 and June 26, 2018. failed to promptly notify the local authority of a change of circumstances which would affect her entitlement to housing benefit, namely that she was living with a man. She was ordered to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work and to pay £40 costs and £85 to victim services.

AYESHA Begum, aged 27, of Olivers Court, Oldham, between April 4, 2016 and January 27, 2019, failed to promptly notify the Department for Work and Pensions of a change of circumstances which she knew would affect her entitlement to carer’s allowance, namely that she was earning a wage above the limit permitted for a claim to that type of benefit. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

RACHAEL Leggat, aged 41, of Walter Mills Way, was guilty of drink driving on October 31 at the Royal Oldham Hospital. She was fined £296 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £32 to victim services. She was also banned from driving for 18 months.

FOYSAL Momin, aged 25, of Malton Street, Oldham, has been committed to Minshull Street Manchester Crown Court for sentence on December 19 for dangerous driving on Chamber Road, failing to stop for police and drink driving on November 3.

LUKE Joseph Stacey, aged 22, of Church Meadow, Greenfield, has admitted possession of cannabis at Oldham on August 27, he was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs and £21 to victim services.

ADELE Evette Whipp, aged 40, of Penn Street, Oldham, sent threatening text messages to a woman. She was fined £40, ordered to pay £85 costs and must undertake rehabilitation activity for up to a maximum of 15 days.

DENNIS Glynn Clayton, aged 51, of Birch Hall Close, Oldham, was drunk in charge of a car in Suthers Street, Oldham on November 1. He was fined £80 and ordered to pay £32 to victim services. He was banned from driving for six months.

BENJAMIN Robinson, also known as Benjamin Parsons, aged 33, of Horsedge Street, Oldham, was guilty of drink driving, driving with no insurance and no licence in Ripponden Road on October 26. He was fined £750 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £50 to victim services. He was banned from driving for 17 months.

CHRISTOPHER David Whitehead, aged 36, of Union Street West, Oldham, produced a quantity of cannabis at Oldham on October 10. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

ELANA Feraru, aged 29, of Edith Street, Oldham, failed to prevent the unauthorised disposal of harmful waste at the rear alleyway at Ashton Road/Edith Street on or before July 16., August 1, September 10, November 6, December 3, 12 She was fined a total of £480 and ordered to pay £250 costs and £30 to victim services.

MUDDASSER Rehman, aged 28, of Unions West Streety, Oldham Coppice, drove a car on Union Street with no insurance. He was fined £40 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £32 to victim services.

An application from Greater Manchester Police for the continued seizure of £1,000 from David Bowie, aged 50 of Warwick Road, Failsworth, under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 has been granted.

LAURA Bailey-Wood, aged 28, of Hawthorn Crescent, Chadderton, between September 24, 2015 and April 28, 2017, failed to promptly notify Oldham Council of a change of circumstances which would affect her entitlement to housing benefit, namely that she was receiving student grants and loans. Between July 7 and August 13 she also failed to notify the authority that she was living as husband and wife with John Holland. She was ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months, pay 3200 costs and £85 to victim services.

LISA Marie Bowler, aged 34, of Matthew Close, Oldham, drove a car in Recreation Road, Failsworth while disqualified and without insurance on July 26. She was ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work, and to pay £85 to victim services. She was also banned from driving for 22 months.

OTIS Lee Smith, aged 46, of Grove Terrace, Oldham, assaulted a woman occasioning her actual bodily harm. He was given a 20-week prison sentence suspended for 24 months. He was also given a restraining order banning him from contacting the victim directly or indirectly except through third parties, family court, social services for the sole purpose of facilitating child contact. He must not enter or drive along Newbreak Close, Oldham. He was ordered to pay £250 costs and £115 to victim services.
