Lantern parade around local streets with collection of tinned food for charities, returning to the church for refreshments. Walk to Butler Green Gardens where Oldham Council has arranged the light switch-on attended by ward councillors and Oldham Town Crier. Start and finish from South Chadderton Methodist Church.

This tree-mendous annual festival is back with more than 65 individually decorated trees for visitors to browse and get inspiration from. There will also be café open throughout the festival for a warming cuppa.

Get into the Christmas spirit and come along for lots of great family fun and celebrate the coming of Chrstmas at Foxdenton Park. With Santa's Grotto, refreshments and free mulled wine and stalls run by local community groups and charities.

Enjoy traditional music and funky festive sounds at our annual winter brass band festival held across three sites in Oldham town centre. See the world famous Black Dyke Band and the acclaimed Oldham Band playing alongside Birmingham’s Heavy Beat Brass Band.

Listen to an array of brilliant local brass bands from across Oldham and Saddleworth will also be performing classic festive songs throughout

It's Back! Saddleworth Santa Dash and Winter Wonderland 2019!

After a fantastic 2018 with 1,500 Santas running through the streets of Saddleworth they're doing it all again. They raised more than £9,000 for local charities and good causes in Oldham and Saddleworth in 2018.

This year's tickets are £15 for adults and £5 for children. Your ticket will get you a full Santa suit (hat only for kids) running number and a finishers medal. There will be the usual 2km and 5km route.
