DO you have someone who deserves a very special Christmas wish this year?

Your Oldham Times cares about you, our great, warm-hearted local audience.

And we have linked up with generous-spirited Oldham Metro Rotary club to ensure someone really does have a memorable Yuletide.

It could be a friend or a neighbour living alone who needs a cheery Christmas treat...

A heard-up family finding it a struggle to provide presents for their loved ones.

An unsung organisation going that extra mile to bring joy to the less fortunate in the community.

Or maybe simply because someone close to you who deserves a special Christmas surprise.

Oldham Metro rotary Club has a peerless reputation for raising money for deserving good causes across the community.

Garvin Crabtree, the community service chairman of Oldham metro, said: "The Rotary motto is 'Service above Self' and there is no more appropriate time than Christmas to think about someone else other than ourselves.

"There are many needy and lonely people who fear Christmas because of the cost or the isolation it brings and our Rotary Club would like to help some of those people to enjoy a better festive season.

"As a club we work closely with communities to help bring a little comfort and joy into their lives so we are delighted to support The Oldham Times Christmas Wishes Campaign."
