General recycling picture
A RECYCLING company has paid a high price for failing to adhere to an enforcement order requiring the removal of waste from its premises to an authorised facility.
Northern Recycling Waste Ltd, of Mossdown Road Transfer Station, Heyside, Oldham, was charged that on January 16, it failed to comply with the order.
It was fined £3,000 and ordered to pay £4,595.68 and £170 to victim services by Tameside Magistrates’ Court.
