A DRIVER has been issued a court summons after failing to stop for police.
The male driver of a Skoda Fabia told officers he "panicked because he wasn't insured."
During a short pursuit, police said the Skoda failed to navigate Westwood roundabout, spinning the car 180-degrees.
Greater Manchester Police's Traffic division tweeted about the incident this morning (December 9): "This Fabia failed to stop in @GMPOldham and after a short pursuit also failed to negotiate Westwood roundabout, spinning through 180-degrees.
"Driver detained, stated he panicked on seeing police due to being uninsured. Vehicle seized, destined for the crusher, driver to court."
