MAGISTRATES have varied a suspended sentence on a 23-year-old man who failed to turn up for two unpaid work assignments.
Niall Bowskill, of Balfour Street, Clarksfield, missed appointments on October 7 and 21.
Appearing at Tameside Magistrates’ Court on December 3, he was given a prison sentence of 12 weeks suspended for 12 months.
He must also carry out 10 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. He must also pay £60 costs.
