FORMER Blue Peter presenter Peter Duncan is to star in a one-man show - The Dame - coming to the Millgate Arts Centre, Saddleworth.
The one-time daredevil turned actor will play seasoned pantomime dame Ronald Roy Humphrey returning to his Northern roots.
The show will take the audience on a journey inside an entertainer’s mind to expose the fragile creature beneath the make-up, bluster and bravado. However many masks we wear; the truth will always be revealed.
Brought to the venue by Saddleworth Live, it is a rare chance to see an Olivier nominated actor in intimate surroundings.
Directed by the award-winning Ian Talbot, The Dame will be staged on Saturday, February 15.
