Stolen caravan destroyed by fire
A CARAVAN believed to have been stolen was destroyed by fire last night (Thursday, January 23).
Firefighters from Hollins and Oldham stations were called to a layby at Park Bridge at about 8pm where the caravan had been parked.
They were on the scene for 45 minutes dealing with the incident. A gas cylinder was also in the caravan.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but it is believed to have been started deliberately.
No-one was injured.
