A woman and her dog have been rescued from a house fire in Worsley.
Fire crews were called to a property off of Manchester Road at 11am this morning.
The accidental fire started in the kitchen after a cooking incident.
Three fire engines attended the scene and rescued the lady using breathing apparatus.
She was taken to Salford Royal Hospital after suffering from a lot of smoke inhalation.
Crews were on scene for one hour, and the Red Cross also attended the house to help.
