A YELLOW weather warning for heavy rain leading to possible flooding has been issued by the Met Office.
Storm Dennis is set to bring a second consecutive weekend of wet and windy weather after Ciara struck the UK with winds of up to 97mph and caused widespread flooding including across Bolton and neighbouring Bury.
The Met Office's latest weather warning means homes and businesses could be flooded and damaged, with disruption to public transport and the road network.
Spells of heavy and prolonged rain are expected to affect Greater Manchester and Lancashire, with around 20-40mm of rain falling.
The yellow weather warning will be in place from Saturday noon until Sunday 9pm.
Storm Dennis is the fourth named storm of the 2019-20 season.
