General picture of cigarette butts in the street
CHADDERTON man has had to pay out a total of £747 after being caught dropping a cigarette butt in the pedestrianised area of Oldham on July 1, 2019.
Colin Cooley, 49, of Yew Tree House, Chadderton also failed to give his name and address when asked by an authorised officer of Oldham Council.
At Tameside Magistrates' Court, on Wednesday, February 26, he was fined a total of £440 and ordered to pay £275 and £32 to victim services.
