SOME 20 people have been charged following a large scale disturbance during a rally promoting the far right activist Tommy Robinson in Oldham in May, 2019.
The fracas in which a number of objects were thrown and damage was caused to police vehicles happened on May 18 during the event in the Limeside area.
The following people have been charged with violent disorder and will appear at Tameside Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, March 5 and March 19.

Mohammed Zeeshauan Khan, 21, of Cotton Mill Crescent, Oldham.
Kamran Ali, 27, of Savoy Street, Oldham.
Abdul Nazir, 27, of Hardy Street, Oldham.
Rahim Ahmed, 25, of Bankside Close, Oldham.
Amann Ul Haq, 19, of Frederick Street, Oldham.
