BOXER Amir Khan says having his own space has made his relationship with wife Faryal Makhadoom even stronger.
The 33-year-old spoke to OK! magazine and said having a two-bed "lad pad" attached to their main house was the secret to their happy home life.
The father-of-three told the magazine: "I swear it’s the best thing ever. I do think having a separate house has also made our relationship stronger, because you’re not in each other’s face all the time.
"I still need my own space sometimes, to have my friends over and have a little chill. And Faryal can do the same."
The champion boxer and Faryal are parents to daughters Lamaisah and Alayna, and welcomed son Muhammad Zaviyar Khan in February.
