AN Oldham drug dealer has appeared in court after almost six years on the run.
Manchester Crown Court heard that Elidon Piri, of York House, Eastway, Shaw, was first arrested in a motor vehicle on July 12, 2014.
When searched he was found in possession of a rolled up black sock containing 29 snap bags of white powder believed to be cocaine.
Police officers also found cash and three mobile phones in the vehicle, two of which were ringing repeatedly.
In interview Elidon, 25, admitted possessing cocaine but said it was for his own use.
He later failed to attend a court appearance in November 2014, but was arrested this year on another matter.
Appearing via videolink from HMP Altcourse Piri pleaded guilty to a charge of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
Judge Hilary Manley ordered a pre-sentence report and remanded Piri in custody until his sentencing on June 15.
