THE number of people who have died in Warrington due to coronavirus has passed 200 today, Tuesday.
One more patient has sadly died at Warrington Hospital after testing positive for Covid-19.
This means a total of 114 people have now died at the Trust.
Across Warrington, 88 residents are now known to have died in care homes.
This an increase of 13 week-on-week.
According to the latest government figures, 722 people in the borough have tested positive for the virus.
In England, a further 174 people, who tested positive for Covid-19 have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals to 24,913.
Of these, 35 deaths were in the north west.
Patients were aged between seven and 102 years old.
Six of the 174 patients (aged between 45 and 90) had no known underlying health condition.
