A MAN has been given a suspended prison sentence and banned from a Bolton pub for six months after he assaulted another man on December 15 last year.
At Manchester Magistrates' Court Wayne Green, aged 53, of Rydal Road, Little Lever, pleaded guilty to causing William Bretherton actual bodily harm.
He was sentenced to 10 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months, barred from the Queen Elizabeth pub in Fletcher Street, Bolton, and must pay his victim £250 in compensation plus £207 in costs and charges.
