Scotland-born Charles Allan Waterson, known as Allan, died at the Royal Oldham Hospital on January 10.
Mr Waterson was a retired security guard who lived on Burnley Street, Chadderton, with his partner.

Mr Waterson was a Type 2 diabetic and had suffered from a bad infection on his foot since November 2019 which had required he stayed eight days in hospital.
He had been regularly visited at home but had developed further infection to his other foot.
