FIREFIGHTERS from Hollins and Oldham stations and a specialist appliance from Ashton were called to a serious road accident early today.
A car is understood to have collided with a building and nearby parked vehicles in Hollins Road, Oldham at about 2.30am.
A spokesperson from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: “Upon arrival crews established that the incident involved a car which had collided with a building and nearby parked vehicles.
"Working quickly using hydraulic tools, crews extricated a man in his 20s from the car - he was later transferred to hospital via ambulance. GMFRS was at the scene for around two hours.”
