TWO people were taken to hospital following a fire at a terraced home in Failsworth last night (Monday, June 22).
Four fire engines including crews from Oldham, Chadderton, Hollins and Blackley were called to the house in Joseph Street at about 8.30pm. A first floor bedroom was on fire.
A Greater Manchester Fire Service spokesperson said: "On arrival the firefighters extinguished the fire using four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and a positive pressure ventilation unit.
"Two people were out of the property on fire crews arrival and were transferred to hospital by the North West Ambulance Service.
