TWO people have been injured in a car crash near a pub.
Officers were called to deal with a collision on the Grane Road, near to the Grey Mare pub, at Belthorn at around 8pm on Sunday.
Traffic was still moving but there were slight delays as all emergency services worked together.
A spokesman from the police said: “We were called at 8.05pm to reports of a single vehicle road traffic collision, close to the Grey Mare public house, involving a blue Nissan Micra.
“Two occupants in the vehicle were injured but their conditions are not life-threatening.
“A cordon was put in place but the road was fully re-open around 9.30pm. No arrests have been made.”
The car has since been recovered and the road reopened.
The police also put out a statement on Twitter.
They said: “Officers currently dealing with a vehicle that has left the road on Grane Road near to the Grey Mare pub at Blackburn. Traffic still moving but slight delays. All emergency services working together.”
