AN appeal has been issued after a charity van was stolen from a garage.
Bosses at the Mahdlo Youth Zone say the vehicle was taken at around 6.50pm.
Two men were seen breaking into the vehicle and it is believed to have been driven towards Shaw Road.
A Mahdlo spokesman said: "Unfortunately yesterday at 6.50pm Mahdlo’s minibus was stolen. Two males broke in and drove away down the hill towards Shaw Road."
Youth zone officials say if anyone saw anything then they should let the charity know and call 0161 624 0111 or report the matter to the police quoting the incident number SP-84403-20-0606-IR.
The shock theft has come just days after Mahdlo supporters embarked on one of their largest fundraisers of 2020.
A number of athletes walked a collective 500 miles to support youth zone activities. raising more than £2,500.
