MCDONALD'S has announced which stores are serving breakfast again from today.

McMuffin fans can rejoice as over 1,250 chains are now serving your favourite breakfast items including all East Lancashire stores, except one.

There are 28 locations in which you can order a bacon roll but Burnley St. James Street is not one of them.

Paul Pomroy, chief executive officer for McDonald's UK and Ireland, said: "As with our main menu, we will have a limited menu at breakfast but we’ve kept the classics – hash browns, McMuffins and pancakes all return.

"Unfortunately, whilst adhering to social distancing guidelines, we are unable to serve porridge, bagels and our Breakfast Wrap.

"This is because we have fewer people in the kitchen."

The Burnley St. James store will be serving breakfast next week, from Wednesday.

All East Lancashire stores now serving breakfast, are:

  • Blackburn - King William Street
  • Livesey Branch Road, Blackburn
  • Burnley Road, Blackburn
  • Darwen Interchange
  • Hyndburn Road, Accrington
  • Blackburn Road, Rossendale
  • Ribble Valley Enterprise Park
  • Haslingden Road, Rossendale
  • Burnley Gate

McDonald’s has slowly been re-opening stores since closing for coronavirus lockdown and now operates a limited breakfast menu with just a bacon roll, hash browns, the McMuffin range, cheesy bacon flatbread, and pancakes.

Dining areas are still closed, so customers are advised to either order for delivery or via the Uber Eats app.
