JOFRA Archer is a cricketer, no more, no less, as he does not possess the common sense to follow instructions which are not difficult, in return for doing what you enjoy and are paid for handsomely.

By choosing to do as he pleases and travel to Sussex instead of adhering to government advice and protocol set up by the ECB, he could possibly destabilise the whole cricket series which has taken some time and financial effort to arrange and of course the test series with the West Indies, some of whom, as is their prerogative, chose to decline the tour.

Archer could have potentially moved tested positive and affected many of his team and others. The result, let’s ban them for one match. Ludicrous, and unacceptable. What message does this send? Ignore our rules at your peril.
