POLICE are hunting a man who is accused of threatening a key witness in an investigation with a meat cleaver.
Imran Khan, 34, of Castleford Street, Chadderton, failed to turn up at Tameside Magistrates' Court on Thursday, to face charges of stalking, possession of the meat cleaver and attempting to intimidate a man who is helping police.
Khan is accused of stalking the man and a woman between November 1, 2018 and November 19, 2019.
He is also charged with possession of the meat cleaver in Letham Street, Oldham, and threatening a man helping police with inquiries on January 12, 2019.
Magistrates have issued a warrant for Khan's arrest.
