VILLAGERS are being asked for their views on life during lockdown in Holmes Chapel.
The call comes from the Community Committee, which is made up of Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School staff, governors and people who promote community action in the village.
The committee aims to help bring the generations together and to forge links between the school and the community.
A committee spokesman said: “The last few months have seen an extraordinary upheaval of all our day-to-day lives, and the committee is aware of some inspiring community action that has sprung up in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
“In a move to celebrate what’s great, support things that are helping and find out what’s needed, the committee has decided to ask the community about their experiences.
“The consultation includes high school students, their families and residents.
“They’d really like to hear what you have to say about what it’s been like to live through these strange times, and how you feel about your community as a result.”
The survey takes than 15 minutes to complete, and for details visit thevillagesmag.com/post/community-committee
If you would like to take part but you don’t have internet access you can collect a printed survey from Holmes Chapel Library, Holmes Chapel Parish Council office or by calling 07541 600131.
The findings will be publicised here in the coming months.
