FOUR Oldham people and a building company have fined for renting out unlicensed properties in the town.
They faced justice at Stockport Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
Their offences were in contravention of the Housing Act of 2004 which required properties to be licensed with the local authority.
Qasim Imtiaz Sheikh, of School House Road, Oldham, managed a house at 3 Alvingham Avenue, Primrose Bank, Oldham and was fined £500 and ordered to pay £400 costs.
Denise Croft, of Ashton Road, Oldham, was in control of house at 15 Boston Street, Oldham. She was fined £350 and ordered to pay £300 and £35 to victim services.
Malbro Developments Ltd, of Welling ton Road, Oldham, managed a house a 26 Copsterhill Road, Oldham. The company was fined £575 and ordered to pay £600 costs.,
Rizwan SADIQ, of Park Road, Oldham, ran a house at 22 Pool Street, Oldham. He was fined £650 and ordered to pay £450 cots and £65 to victim services.
Faisal Mahmood Arshad, of Meldrum Street, Oldham, managed of a house at 33 Meldrum Street, Oldham. He was fined £525 and ordered to pay £450 costs and £52 to victim services.
