SIX people in Chadderton received some good news this weekend – they’ve each scooped a cash prize of £1,000 thanks to their postcode.
The Middleton Road neighbours landed the cash when OL9 9RZ was announced as a People’s Postcode Lottery winner on Sunday, September 13.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt sent her well wishes and said: “A big congratulations to all those who have picked up a prize in Chadderton. I hope they are able to treat themselves to something special with the money.”
A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
The draw was promoted by WWF-UK, which has received more than £15.2 million in funding to build a future in which people and nature thrive.
