Rhyddings Business and Enterprise School are keeping a group of pupils home today after two positive coronavirus cases.
The Oswaldtwistle School is asking that all Y9 pupils remain at home after two pupils in the class tested positive for Covid.
An announcement on the schools website said: "Unfortunately we have had to take the decision to close school to all Year 9 students following two positive Coronavirus tests within the Year 9 “bubble”.
"Initially this is for one day only whilst we await further guidance from Health England.
"Other Year groups are not affected and should attend as normal."
The school will be issuing parents with further guidance by text message and via the school website.
