Stockport Magistrates' Court
A MAN of 23 has been jailed for spitting at two police officers two days after the coronavirus national lockdown was lifted in July.
Steven Ward, of Wimpole Street, Oldham, was caged for 28 days after appearing at Stockport Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
He spat at two officers in Oldham and pleaded guilty to assault. Ward must also pay a total of £100 compensation.
