COVID-19 cases have continued to rise across Oxfordshire and the rest of the UK.
According to Public Health England the latest number of cases since 4.30pm yesterday has been confirmed as 6,106 in the county.
This is up by 160 and the breakdown of the number by local authority is:
- Oxford - 1,942
- Cherwell - 1,299
- South Oxfordshire - 1053
- Vale of White Horse - 934
- West Oxfordshire - 878

A further 174 people had died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19 as of Saturday.
This brings the UK total to 44,745.
Separate figures published by the UK’s statistics agencies show there have now been 59,000 deaths registered in the UK where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate.
As of 9am on Saturday, there had been a further 23,012 lab-confirmed cases of coronavirus in the UK.
It brings the total number of cases in the UK to 854,010.
