MAGISTRATES have issued a warrant for the arrest of a man who failed to turn up at court for a hearing charged with possessing a knife and other offences.
Lewis Carl Anthony Wood, 23, of Esther Street, Oldham, is also accused of the theft of £100 worth of meat from the Co-op at Oldham on July 13.
It is also alleged he breached a non-molestation order on July 13 by contacting a person via Facebook and then on July 17 visited an address in Chadderton when prohibited from doing so.
He was said to be found in possession of the knife in Spring Street, Oldham on September 13.
Tameside Magistrates' Court ordered his arrest after he failed to turn up for his hearing on November 4.
