A MAN who stalked a woman for five months has been brought back into court to face justice after failing to comply with the community order imposed for the offence.
Daniel Owen, 24, of Pleasant Clough View, Shaw, ignored a harassment warning by going to his victim's address, throwing items into her garden, posted items through her letterbox and attempted to contact her on social media.
He was resentenced at Tameside Magistrates' Court on Tuesday (November 17) where the original community order was revoked because - following a hearing on March 13 - he missed appointments at Oldham Community Rehabilitation Centre on March 25 and April 1.
He has now been fined a total of £180 and ordered to pay £60 costs. Owen has also been ordered to undertake rehabilitation activity for up to a maximum of 15 days.
