A MAN of 28 has appeared in court for assaulting a woman by beating, causing £500 worth of damage to her car and mobile phone.
Sihabur Rahman Tariq, 28, of Devon Street, Werneth, carried out the offences on April 21.
Appearing at Tameside Magistrates' Court on November 18, he was ordered to carry out £120 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months, pay £300 compensation, £135 costs and £95 to victim services.
