HOMESCHOOLING took a new twist for eleven-year-old Cameron Lee, from Shaw, who kept himself busy during lockdown by learning how to make fudge with the help of his dad.
Crompton House pupil, Cameron spent hours in the kitchen learning how to perfect his luxury fudge, with his final creation a huge hit with family and friends. With great reviews, the budding confectioner was encouraged by his team of tasters to package and sell the fudge. Cameron prepared his professionally made fudge in different sized decorated boxes.
Kind-hearted Cameron decided to donate all his profits to Dr Kershaw’s as his great-grandma was looked after in their In-Patient Unit back in 2009.
Cameron’s Mum, Rachael Lee said: “Cameron has always enjoyed cooking and during lockdown wanted to learn something new. My Grandma was looked after at the Hospice and the doctors and nurses couldn’t have done more for her and the family. We always make a Light Up a Life dedication in her name but this year, Cameron wanted to do even more for Dr Kershaw’s.
