Snow is expeted to fall in Oldham tonight following a day of heavy rain due to Storm Christoph.
The Met Office has forecast heavy snow from 10pm and continuing into the early hours of the following morning.
On Thursday a mix of snow, sleet and rain is predicted for the town, an an amber weather warning for heavy rain in place until midday.

A yellow weather warning for ice is also in place between 1am and 10am tomorrow.
Temperatures will hover around 2C but with a 'feels like' temperature, which takes into account wind and other factors, of -4C.
More snow could fall for the rest of the week, with a 60 per cent chance each day until Monday, January 24.
