IT was once a thriving bank with happy customers and staff.
But this former District Bank and Natwest closed down many moons ago.
Our reader Gaz Turner shared these images that show the derelict building in its current state.
The listed building in Mumps is said to be haunted.
Kathleen Collins worked there in 1963.
She said: “It was a great place to work but very eerie, I would always feel like somebody was behind me in the cellar.
“Even when I was alone I would hear whispers and coughing. Very spooky.”
John Alexander Sessions also said: “My mum worked there when it was a bank in the 60s and she was a cleaner. It was supposed to be haunted. She told me she heard some unusual things like the toilets flushing when she was the only one in the building and things like sink taps running, but when she went to see, the sinks were dry.”
