ANONYMOUS posters threatening to expose a cheating husband in Oldham have taken the internet by storm.
Pinned on trees, lampposts and cars across Glodwick and Alexandra Park in Oldham, the handwritten notes, which allude to the identity of an adulterous husband, are setting social media alight.
One anonymous note, that slams the unidentified husband for being a “lying cheater”, adding “this is his exposing day,” has gone viral after being uploaded to the Spotted: Oldham Facebook page on Saturday evening, March 6.
The Facebook post has been shared over 400 times and been met with a tsunami of more than 1,000 comments, as the public becomes increasingly desperate to discover the man’s identity.
Even GMP Rochdale have waded in. In response to one person's comment the police force said of the mystery surrounding the huband's identity: “I’m afraid to say this one lied with our colleagues on the Q division. He seems to be escaping their grasp. I’m led to believer there are some very strong leads on social media, it be wrong of me to disclose any information.”
A later post by Spotted:Oldham said the incident has “brought community’s together”, adding “we really need closure on this case.”
The notes have shared some clues in regard to who the alleged cheater is, including some of the letters within his name and the street he lives on, when the identity of the “cheater” will be revealed however remains unknown.
