HERE are some images of Fletcher’s Mill in Saddlworth.
Mike Henfields worked there in the Eighties.
He said: “It was a good place to work and all of us were skilled in what we did.
“I was made redundant and was very sad to see the paper mill close.”
Former employee, Roger Jones said: “The cigarette papers effluent used to go down past Mosley in one big stinking foam mess. I was taught to shoot by Graham Ellis who was foreman of the slitting room in the plantation.”
