HERE are some great images sent in by one of our readers.

Christopher Loftus shared these pictures of children in the 1960s who went to Werneth Primary school.

The original Coppice Street school was demolished in 1993, the end of an era for many.

The Victorian building was bulldozed away when it had been a primary school for 99 years - just missing out on its centenary.

It is now known as Werneth Primary School in the same street and is still going strong.

We had a great response to the previous gallery of Werneth and had some help in identifying the pupils and people shared many happy memories of their time there.

Unfortunately there are no names or exact dates for these children on the photographs. But this is where you come in.

Do you recognise anyone in the pictures?
