- Three lanes were closed due to a crash involving three cars on the M60 anticlockwise between J23 A6140 Moss Way (Ashton Under Lyne) and J22 A62 Manchester Road (Failsworth).
- Lanes two, three and four (of four) were closed until around 11:20 when traffic was held.
- A spokesperson from GMP has said: “At around 9.39am this morning police were called to a report of a three vehicle road traffic collision on the M60 between junctions 23 and 22 at Tameside.
- “Fire and ambulance service attended the scene. Four people in total were taken to hospital, although no serious injuries have been reported.”
- The vehicles have now been cleared and the lanes reopened.
