A LARGE fire broke out at Saddleworth's Dovestone Reservoir last night.
Brian Banawich, who lives near the Greenfield beauty spot, shared pictures of the blaze, which started at around 10pm.
He said: "I saw it from my back garden and went down to see if the fire services had arrived.

"The fire engines were having difficulty getting to the exact location as it wasn't accessible by road.
"They eventually managed to get through."
He added this emphasised why the Ranger scheme at Dovestone 'needs to be expanded, not cancelled, saying: "We need more watchful people at Dovestone to avoid a catastrophe."
