THE doors of Oldham's Debenhams are officially closed.
Following the closure of stores across the UK, staff who worked at the Spindles department store have been reminiscing about their times there.
It's an end of an era for staff and customers alike and our shopping experience will never be the same.
Debenhams was founded in 1813 and first opened up in London, becoming a household name for all that shopped there.
These pictures show the friendships that were built over the years at the Oldham store, as the old saying goes - chance made us colleagues, hearts made us friends.
From nights out for winning awards, to Christmas doos and celebrity visits, former employees said they will always remember the good times.
A facebook group has been set up for Debenhams Oldham where people are sharing their pictures and memories.
