The 20-year-old was ordered to remain at his home on Brownhill Drive in Oldham between 7pm and midnight for a total of 12 weeks.

Ashab Ali was given six points for driving at 59 miles per hour in a 30mph zone.

The 26-year-old admitted the offence which took place on Oldham Road near Butler Street in Manchester in July last year.

The man from Westwood Drive was also fined £216.

Elliot McGeary appeared in court accused of a sexual offence against a boy under the age of 13.

The offence is said to have taken place between September 2015 and the same month of the following year.

The case against the 18-year-old was too serious to be dealt with in that particular court.

It was sent to Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court where McGeary, of Chetwyn Avenue in Royton will appear later this month.

Aissa Cooke appeared in court accused of being behind the wheel of a Volkswagen Polo on Buxted Road in Oldham in August last year without a licence or insurance.

The 18-year-old is also accused of failing to stop for police.

The man from Kipling Road in Oldham’s case adjourned, he will return to court this week.
