TWO cars were wrecked in a crash on Featherstall road in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Officers were called just after 1.15am on Thursday to reports of a crash on Featherstall Road, Oldham.

Emergency services rushed to the scene and a man was taken to hospital.

No one has been arrested, it has been confirmed.

A spokesperson from GMP said: “Officers were called just after 1.15am on Thursday, May 13 to a report of a collision on Featherstall Road, Oldham.

“Emergency services attended, and enquiries established two vehicles had been involved in a collision.

“A man was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life threatening.

“No arrests have been made.”

A video posted on Facebook by the group Spotted:Oldham reveals the shocking extent of the damage caused to the cars involved in the smash.

One of the cars appears to have sustained extensive damage to its side while the other can be seen to have incurred major damage to its front end.

Debris can also be seen scattered in the road.

Emergency services are also pictured dealing with the aftermath, including a fire engine.
