An Oldham teenager has been banned from the roads and sent to a youth offender panel after driving carelessly when he did not have permission to be behind the wheel.
The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, admitted the offences which took place in January this year at Tameside Magistrates' Court.
He admitted he was behind the wheel of a Vauxhall Corsa on Propps Hall Drive without insurance or a licence.
As well as this he admitted he drove without due care and attention on that occasion.
The teenager was banned from the roads for a year and sent to the youth offender panel in Oldham for a period of six months.
