A man has confessed to driving dangerously in Oldham while under the influence of drugs – but must wait longer to find out what his punishment will be.
Mykola Kowszar admitted that in December last year he was behind the wheel of a Honda Civic in the town with cannabis in his system.
He also admitted driving dangerously and that he did not have insurance to be behind the wheel.
The 23-year-old, from New Lane in Middleton, appeared in Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court expecting to be sentenced.
The court heard he had travelled at 95mph in a 30mph speed limit.
Representing him, defence counsel Gordon Kennell said although a report had not been done on his client he still wanted to be sentenced and was expecting to be jailed.
But judge Maurice Greene noted Kowszar was compling with another community order, so ordered that a report must be done before he passed sentence.
The case will recall next month.
