A man from Oldham has appeared in court accused of carrying out a sexual offence.
Rahman Akhtar appeared in Tameside Magistrates’ Court, where he faced a single charge said to have taken place earlier this month.
It is alleged the 32-year-old intentionally touched a woman who was 16 or over, the touching of her was sexual, and he did not have a reasonable belief that the touching was sexual.
The man from Eric Street in Oldham entered a not guilty plea to the allegation.
The case against him was sent to Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court for trial, and Akhtar will appear there next month.
