AN Oldham charity is providing workshop sessions for people affected by hair loss or skin tone changes due to cancer.
Maggie’s Oldham based at The Royal Oldham Hospital has teamed up with the charity Look Good Feel Better UK to create sessions to help people with cancer combat the changes caused to their skin tone or hair.
The workshops will be hosted by experts from the Look Good Feel Better charity who will help participants learn new skills in a friendly and supported environment.
Maggie’s centres offer one to one help and support from professionals and are home to a range of activity groups that service users can join. They also offer a calming space for a cup of tea with others who know what it is like to be affected by cancer.
Look Good Feel Better, helps boost the physical and emotional wellbeing of people living with cancer through free online and face to face workshops.
Anyone interested in the sessions can get in touch with Maggie’s Oldham by calling 0161 989 0550.
